2015 MIAAA Awards Presented  

Several awards were presented at the 2015 MIAAA Spring Conference at the Samoset Resort. Pictured below are some of the recipients.

2015 Spring Conference   The 44th annual conference of the Maine Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (MIAAA) will again be held at the Samoset Resort, Rockport Maine for the 39th consecutive year. The conference will be a four-day affair starting on Tuesday March 31 (pre-conference day) and continuing through Friday morning, April 3, 2015. Click here for more information.

2014-15 MIAAA Membership   The 2014 MIAAA Membership drive is on! The MIAAA is now accepting Membership Applications for the 2014-15 School Year. Become a member of the MIAAA and NIAAA today!

The Maine Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (MIAAA) is proud to provide a new nonprofit service designed to assist families in being properly educated about the athletic collegiate recruiting process. The Recruiting Education Foundation, Inc., a 501(c) 3 nonprofit venture, is now providing MIAAA with recruiting webinars for high school athletes and their families in the state of Maine. The Webinar will cover the following topics:

• Three rules of being a parent
• Scholarship myths and facts
• NAIA and JUCO education
• Scholarships, do they differ?
• The Name Game
• Negotiate/Cooperative Education
• Dangers of social networking/cell phones
• National Letter of Intent
• NCAA/NAIA Eligibility Centers
• Recruiting Services
• NCAA core course requirements

MIAAA Professional Development Program
